In 1958, the J&S Scale Company began in Hutchinson, Kansas.  Originally a Scale Service Company, the first four decades saw the company evolve into a high-quality scale manufacturing company.   After years of manufacturing several models of rugged vehicle and livestock scales, innovative designs and proven installations established the company as a manufacturing leader of Automatic Bulk Scale Systems. 

 

In 2016, J&S joined the Precia Molen team, forming J&S Weighing Solutions, LLC.  This joint venture combines the products and expertise of J&S Scales with the vast product offerings, cutting-edge technology and worldwide leadership of Precia Molen, bringing a combined presence of well over 100 years in the weighing industry.
